Full casting has been announced for Goodspeed Musicals’ premiere of The 12, a new musical following 12 of the most well-known characters of all time: the 12 disciples. Tony winner John Doyle will direct the production, set to run September 8-October 29 at the Connecticut venue.

The 12, which features a book and lyrics by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan and music and lyrics by Neil Berg, follows the death of the disciples’ leader. The new musical spotlights the 12 ordinary individuals as they come together to create one of the most powerful movements ever known in one of the most devastating moments.
