This past week, 18 productions participated in Kids’ Night on Broadway, which offered free tickets to children with the purchase of an adult ticket. This week, ATP for new musicals came to a modest $104.89, while ATP for new plays continued to climb to a lofty $198.73. A record high for this season, the Washington-Gyllenhaal-led Othello, which grossed $2.8 million this past week, continues to be the driving force behind the staggeringly high ticket prices.
