The KGM 500 is a Broadway market index used to track the overall health of the market based on the grosses of 5 long-running shows. This week, the KGM 500 rose to $7,258,799 signaling that spring has officially sprung on Broadway. With the combination of daylight saving time, schools going on spring break, and Tony season just around the corner, Broadway audiences are starting to return with the warmer weather. Attendance this week (277,556) saw a 23% increase compared to this week last season (219,954).

The Average Ticket Price graph shows a comparison of ATP for new musicals and plays that opened in the 2024/25 season. This week, ATP for new musicals came to $103.72, while ATP for new plays continued on its record-breaking trajectory to $214.41.  Three new plays began previews this past week, and in an undeniably strong week for dramas, the 6 new plays in the 2024/25 season grossed more in total than the 9 new musicals represented in the 2024/25 season.
