1. The Producer’s Role on Broadway, With Cody Lassen

Today we speak with Tony-Award winning producer Cody Lassen. Cody’s work includes Paula Vogel’s Indecent (and the revival of her How I Learned to Drive), What the Constitution Means To Me, Thoughts of a Colored Man and a slew of others.  With years of data-driven research and implementation, Cody has nearly perfected the art of moving from an idea kernel to opening night. Cody stops by to discuss removing roadblocks for artists, being a problem-solver in the industry, and why writers shouldn’t cold email a producer the 100-page PDF of their new musical. Plus – we get a listen to two tracks from the musical, A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet.
